Top o the mornin to ya!

I have some Irish in me somewhere so I'm  decorating!  I'll pretty much decorate for anything actually.  :)

The problem is I never see much cute St. Paddy day stuff.  Well, I take that back.  I saw tons today at Wendie Monroy's shop in downtown Riverside but being on a budget made it difficult.   I have so little that I just do my porch! 

So here it is.  My pathetic St. Paddy's Day decorations. 

93!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating our matriarch!   Frances Teresa Zastrow Jones is 93 today! 

She is an inspiration and has shown us how to love, how to be a kind person and best of all she still has a fantastic sense of humor!!

I have so many memories of my "Monga" as we affectionately call her.  My favorite memory was watching her and my papa square dance!  Oh how I loved those cute skirts!! 

We had a get together yesterday with all of the Riverside family, missing a few out of town family members. 

My aunt Marla made a yummy carrot cake!

Happy 93rd, Monga!!!  I can't wait to celebrate 94!

Hobby Lobby love

I just adore Hobby Lobby.  I could spend hours wandering each aisle and spending a fortune.  When we first moved in our kitchen had a towel ring in the kitchen.  I hated it!  So for the meantime I took off the ring and just dealt with the ugly thing remaining.  I remembered Hobby Lobby had a great selection of knobs so I was on the hunt!

My ugly peach secret

Our master bath is...ugly.  really really ugly.  It's not at all peachy in fact.

We want to remodel, but we know it will be lots of money so for now I am just dreaming about a bathroom remodel.

Nowhere for me to shave my legs.  So, I haven't shaved in 4 months.  Kidding.  (Kinda)

Lovely gold gold everywhere and a plastic hook. And that linoleum!  So chic!

Check out these steps of death.  Can you imagine stepping out of the tub and actually using those?  Insta-death!  

So give me advise!  We would like to have the toilet in a water closet.  I would also like to get rid of the tub (and not get a new one).  What are your thoughts on this?
