Wicked!

Photobucket
Just as amazing the second time around. This time was even better because I borrowed Donovan's parents binoculars so I watched a lot of it that way. I loved seeing faces close up. We went to Grand Lux before the show and I got:

Carolina B.B.Q. Pork Sandwich
Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Our Honey-Chipotle B.B.Q. Sauce and Coleslaw all Piled High on a Seeded Roll. Served with Fries and Peanut Slaw

seriously the best sandwich EVER. I normally don't like coleslaw but on the sandwich it was delish.

Here is Donovan's excited face. Seriously.

Here is a photo that some dude took of us, the look on the gal in yellows face cracked me up.

This billboard made me laugh:

Oh, and having nothing to do with Wicked, here are the "mouse friend" pancakes. (don't sue me.)

I am oficially nuts

I made myself a Wicked bracelet! I love it and I can't wait to find more charms to add to it.

I got these for Isabella at a store in the mall called Cinderella, she loves them! The small one is a little crown if you can't tell.

I thought this was a good idea...

We made empanadas with pie crust, corn, black beans, cheese, green chilies (for me and D) and shredded chicken. Isabella loved filling them, crimping the edges and poking steam holes. I thought that she would love eating them but not so much. Anyway, try them, maybe your kids will love them!

I am obsessed with this game, I love it and hate it all at the same time! It is VERY challenging (to me at least!). Check it out.

Easter photos

Master egg decorator. We got this cool kit where you drip the color in bags and squish it around. No vinegar needed!

Such a Melissa thing to do.

Donovan and I were talking on Tuesday at about 5:30pm. I felt something weird in my shirt, I thought it was a string. I went feeling around for it and pulled out a dryer sheet! I got dressed at about 9:00 that morning! lol

Yesterday we were at his parent's house and I went to itch my leg with my other leg and felt something weird in my pant leg...NO...it couldn't be!! I went digging around and found one of Donovan's socks AND another dryer sheet!

I think I will be thoroughly checking my clothes today!

Vote for Silver!

http://mine.icanhascheezburger.com/view.aspx?ciid=794277

is it too hot to wear a sweater?

"Won't You Wear a Sweater?" Day - March 20

Mr_2 Tomorrow, March 20, is "Won't You Wear a Sweater?" Day in memory of Mister Rogers (it would've been his 80th birthday). It's also part of a week long celebration for Pittsburgh, PA's 250th anniversary.

"We're asking everyone (including members of the media) everywhere (from Pittsburgh to Paris) to wear their favorite sweater on that day," said Mr. McFeely (aka David Newell) the public relations director for the non-profit Family Communications, Inc. founded by Mr. Rogers. "It doesn't have to have a zipper down the front like the one Mister Rogers wore on the program, it just has to be special to you."

If you were a Mr. Rogers' fan (like me!) then don't forget to wear your sweater tomorrow!

Randomness

Packing tape anyone?

We were "making" eggs. Isn't Zach's apron the cutest thing ever? I love robots.

Check out this face:

he was so proud that he finished his entire bowl of cereal!

For some reason Silver kept grabbing the celery out of the trash! He didn't want to eat it, just wanted to carry it around the house!

Photobucket

Last but not least, check out my sink. I am slightly obsessed with keeping it shiny thanks to this book

Dear JCPenney,

Though I do love your photos I really hate how you try to sell me the most expensive portrait package ever. I do not want to buy the $30 photos that you put together. I do not want to buy a 77x86 inch photo. I do not want to order everyone in my entire family a print. I do not want to buy a frame for $30 when I can buy one for $9 at Michaels.

P.S. Please bring back LaShawna or whatever her name was.

is it just me?

Or does it seem that people are driving crazier every day? You risk life and limb every time you get behind the steering wheel! It's a daily occurrence that I see someone driving on the shoulder, making up their own lane. Running red lights that were so obviously red way before they went into the intersection. I guess people think they are the most important ones on the road, they need to get to where they need to be...who cares about anyone else? They're aren't nearly enough police officers to catch all of these people.

being a homeowner

Is not fun sometimes! We had a leak in our hot water pipe under the foundation of our house. Luckily it was under the laundry room floor-which is tiled so it didn't mess with our wood floors. They jackhammered the tile that I hated and have been wanting to get rid of for 5 years!

They also cut out a hole in the playroom closet. The water leaked into there it spread about 4 feet out into the playroom carpet.

Thank God for Donovan's parents, they were lifesavers! They even offered to let us stay overnight. Thanks guys, we love and appreciate you SO much!

That's Donovan and his dad building a base for our new water heater.
