I thought I would share some photos of our pets.
This is Corky, she is...maybe 12. Donovan got her at the pound before we met and they weren't sure how old she was. She had parvo and has had heart surgery and runs with Silver our "puppy" like she is 2 also.
This is Roxanne (named after The Police song!), but she would never know that's her name, I have called her Bee since she was a baby. She's moody, spends most of her time hiding under beds and avoiding the kids and other pets.
This is Mia, she is the greatest cat EVER. She loves the kids, loves to sit on their laps, drinks from the bathroom faucet. Chases the kids around the house, tolerates the dogs. Loves to be outside, we had a leash for her and used to let her out all the time but then she would just walk out when the door opened so we had to stop that, we can't let her go!
Here she is with Silver:
Last is Sterling Silver, Silver for short. He just turned 2 in October, but I still call him a puppy. I think he will always act like one, from what I've heard Weimaraners tend to be crazy for life! I heard someone call another Weimarner a tasmanian devil, what a great way to describe him! He completely destroyed our back yard, chewed up the wooden rocking horse that my parents made for Isabella, peed on the floor more times than I can count...but we love him. He is so great with the kids, he's got a great bark that I use when strangers come to the door. Best of all, he tolerates me dressing him up, which I love to do!
Here he is the day we got him, 8 weeks old:
Here he is in his first crate, he has had 3 and still loves them. We allow him to sleep in our room but he always goes downstairs to sleep in his crate!
I love it when groomers make them little bandanas, I think they look so cute with them on.
He looks so regal in this shot, but really, it's hard to get him to sit still for long enough to take a photo! He can't control himself most of the time.
He couldn't stop licking his belly so we got him a stylish lamp shade. Actually we got him 3...he kept destroying them!
This is probably one of my most favorite photos, ever. I love the halo on his head with the evil look on his face and the red eyes...perfect!
So that's my zoo. Come on over, admission is free.
