Zach and I are shooting a scrunchy back and forth and he shoots it backwards.
Here he is again and for some reason he started calling his blueberries boogers! Who knows why, he's 3 he says weird stuff.

I say funny things when I am tired
Last night I was falling asleep and I started telling Donovan about this funny...barbecue. I meant commercial, I don't know why I said barbecue. Anyway, here is the barbecue:

Is it ok to gargle with hand sanitizer?
I took Zach in a public restroom and forgot his little travel potty seat at home so I had to hold him on the potty and he holds on for dear life too. He was touching the bare toilet seat and I was grossed out but I kept thinking to myself...it's ok, I will wash his hands as soon as he is done. He finished going potty and stands up and I help him pull up his pants. He reaches down to help me and his thumb...that was on the bare toilet seat and hasn't been washed yet went in yes, IN my mouth! I was so grossed out but I laughed anyway. Kids!

The Grove
I finally feel like I have found a church that I really feel welcome at. I loved our old church but it's too far, usues too much gas and takes up half our day so we have been looking for a closer church.
I joined MOPS last week and I absolutely LOVE it. I have already made some amazing friends. Tonight my friend Alicia and I went to a girls night out and played Bunco, ate some dessert and had some yummy tea. At bunco my friend Ashley invited me to a Thursday morning bible study so I am going to start that on Thursday! I feel so welcome there, I have friends there and the kids love it. Oh, and another thing I love about it is that they have a Saturday night service, it's much easier to get Donovan to go at night instead of early Sunday morning. He wakes up at 4:00am every day so I like to let him sleep in on the weekends...well, sleep in until 8:00 or so...the kids don't let us get to much sleep!

poor Silver!
This is a long story so I am going to try to condense it. Last weekend we went to the trailer to put a few things in it, we forgot that the pooper scooper was in the back and didn't put it in the trailer. Fast forward to last night, we take Silver to obedience training and again forget that the pooper scooper is in the back. Silver goes nuts when we drive whining and going back and forth to each window. Well, as we are pulling into the garage and Silver starts SCREAMING like he has never screamed before. I jump out of the car to see what is going on and Silver is so upset that he won't let me help him, he bites me over and over. Not hard but still painful! Still screaming my neighbor comes running out to see what's going on. I finally realize what is going on, the scooper that looks a lot like a bear claw is around this paw! Poor guy. I pull it off him and he is still biting me! Luckily I got it off quickly once I figured out what was going on.
Here is a photo of the scooper:
Luckily he is fine today and the poop scooper is not in the back of the truck anymore!

frustrated
Zach has told me 3-4 times today that he needs to go #2 so we run in there and sit...and sit...and sit. I have literally spent 3 hours in the bathroom today.
Zach's newest friend
Her name is Brimy, she is 4 and has white hair and red eyes. She likes to play dolls.
Why are all his friends Albinos?

Potty Training
Is going really well! Zach tells us every time he has to pee and hasn't had many accidents. We are still working on the poop, he was doing really well but went off on his own when I wasn't paying enough attention to him and pooped in his pull up. I hope he will be completely trained soon, such a big boy!

Oh my goodness!
Isabella has a loose tooth! The dentist told us it was loose but I didn't see it wiggling but now I see it. She's gonna be the cutest toothless kid ever!
I used to love these guys
I completely forgot about them until seeing that it's their birthdays today on a gossip website. I think I had a few posters that my brothers made fun of. I had all their tapes, bought all the issues of Bop th1t they were on. Ahhhh, young love. Now I look at these photos and laugh, they look so silly!
I believe I had this poster in my room:
Here is one of my favorite songs by them:

Am I too young
to enjoy square dancing? I remember watching my grandparents and thinking it looked like so much fun and the outfits...oh the outfits!
I wonder if I could get Donovan to wear a bolo tie?
I wonder if I could get Donovan to wear a bolo tie?
THE most disgusting thing ever
I HATE these, they disgust me. I don't know why anyone would want to buy these let alone hang them from the vehicle that they paid a lot of money for.
truck nuts
And on the female version I hate these:
While I'm on a roll I will go on to these:
How about donating money to a good cause (perhaps the reason that the beloved person died?) instead of buying a sticker?

project fried chicken
was a success, but I will never do it again! Frying just scares me, I had my fire extinguisher out on the counter the entire time. When Isabella saw it we had this conversation:
"where do I go if there's a fire?"
"you run outside and go to Mickey and Angela's house and tell them to call 911" (M&A are our next door neighbors)
"oh, and then I can play with Alexa!" good thinking!
Anyway, back to the chicken, it was okay, not as flavorful as I normally like. Oh, and cutting the chicken up was torture! I hate dealing with raw chicken, so slimy, so icky. I kept thinking if my hand slips and the chicken goes flying across the room I will have so much to clean up! I know, I'm weird.
Wow, what a rambling nonsensical blog. Sorry, I'm tired!

I'm done!
I just finished my last class, thank goodness! These women today were acting like 12 year old kids in a class with a substitute teacher. Showing off, acting our for attention, being complete jack a$$es. At one point one of the ladies says "this is sorta like giving birth" and her other cohort says no, this is like giving birth and lets out a few breaths and then starts screaming at the top of her lungs. Her buddy laughed and the rest of the class just stared at her bewildered. They also tried to make me feel guilty for leaving! One lady said "well, who will teach us?" (in a rude tone) and I wanted to say: how about that loudmouth over there?!
On to bigger and better things, like my sweet kids!

some bad some good
I got a parking ticket today. =(
There is absolutely NO parking around Isabella's school, a lot of people park in the No Parking area in front of her school so I asked the crossing guard and she said they usually don't give tickets out for it. So for 3 weeks I have been parking there on days that we can't walk. Today was a drive day because I had to take the Honda in to have them repair the sun visor. I come out of school and there is a ticket on my car. It's no big deal, only $33.50 but man...where am I supposed to park?! Luckily tomorrow is my last aqua class so I should be able to walk her to school every day.
On a good note:
The visor on the new Civic fell off a few weeks ago when I was using it. I just held it in my hand laughing for about 5 minutes laughing and thinking...why does this happen to me?! I was convinced that it wouldn't be covered by the dealer and I would have to pay $200 or so for this little fix.
I pull into Honda service dept at 9:15 today and they surprised me by saying it was covered and that there was also a recall and did I have time to sit while they fixed it? I sat for 45 minutes and ate a free doughnut and drank free coffee while they fixed both things AND washed it ,which was on my to-do list for today. YAY!

Oh and...
My great friend Alicia, her husband John (who is not great, but is Fantastic) and their 2 kids Zoe and Zao finally has her own house! They have looked at 50? houses and made 8? offers and one was finally accepted today. I am so happy for them, they deserve the best, they are amazing friends!
potty training takes a lot of time!
I think I have spent at least 4 hours in the bathroom with Zach today! We have a little seat in there and I read to him while we sit so it isn't so bad. But man, I have got NOTHING done today!

Isabella's first soccer game
Let's just say she isn't a sporty kid! She said she doesn't like to sweat and doesn't want to play soccer again but we are going to stick it out through the season since there are only 5 kids on her team. It was just about 100 degrees at 11:00am! Here are some photos:
She started out with pigtails, then one by one the rubber bands break and I have to use my rubber band in her hair!
Here she is with 2 of her team mates practicing kicks. They weren't lined up like that on purpose either! (one ponytail down)
Here she is running, this is one of the few times she actually ran (both ponytails down):
Eating watermelon with her brother during halftime (with my rubber band finally holding her hair up):
Zach brought his own seat:

Zach has shown us already that he is one stubborn boy! Isabella was just over 2 1/2 when she was completely potty trained and I do understand that boys are harder that girls but come on Zach! He is doing pretty well lately though, he has pooped in the potty for a few days straight now. The prize that he loves the most is gum! Sugar free Trident bubble gum. Too bad he swallows it, but I've heard the 7 year thing is a myth..should I call Adam and Jamie? lol!

this reminds me of something that my brothers and I would to do
The Invisible Jump Rope - Watch more free videos
My brothers and I used to hide in the bushes with a dollar tied to a fishing string and when people would reach for it we would pull it away! We also did the same with one of my mom's old purses. We were such rotten kids, but we sure had fun!
It's really hard to pat myself on the back and type at the same time.
I took the kids to the dentist today and no cavities for both of them! Isabella also has 2 loose teeth, she is going to be toothless soon!
Zach did really well, he sat in the big chair and let them check and clean his teeth, he even let them take x-rays, I was shocked and very pleased.
Our dentist is amazing, we love it there:
Dr. Roy Beam
To loosen Zach up the dental technician let Zach squirt her with the water that they squirt into your mouth. He soaked her...score! They give the kids a prize for having no cavities (they each got a movie) and a prize for doing good, he gave them both a new toothbrush, flossers, toothpaste, and a pack of sugar free bubble gum (that I proceeded to keep in a safe place called my purse)

why I love walking Isa to school
2-3 times a week there are about 5 or 6 motorcycle cops out in front of her school giving tickets for the people who apparently can't read. There is a big sign that says no left turn from 7:30am-9:00am and 2:00pm-3:00pm and car after car turns left. One cop will be in the middle of the road about 1/2 mile away and point for the cars to park along the street where another cop is waiting to give them there well deserved ticket. I love it! I could sit and watch all day!
